Certificate & Course Delivery Policy

Probe it Food Safety is a fully online training company. We don't ship physical products. Everything you buy — your course, your final exam, and your certificate — is delivered electronically. Here's how it works.

How do you get your course

The moment your payment goes through, you'll receive an automatic email from noreply@probeit.ca with your login details. This includes:

  • Your username (the email you used at checkout)
  • A temporary password
  • A direct link to log in

The first time you log in, the system will ask you to change your temporary password to one you choose. After that, you can start your course right away.

If you don't see your login email

If you don't see the email within a few minutes:

  1. Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder
  2. Make sure the email you entered at checkout was spelled correctly
  3. Add noreply@probeit.ca and support@probeit.ca to your safe sender's list
  4. If you still can't find it, contact us — we'll resend your login and confirm the email on file

If you entered the wrong email at checkout

It happens. Email support@probeit.ca with your order number and we'll fix the email on your account and resend your login details. We'll also update your account so your certificate is issued to the correct email when you finish.

How do you get your certificate

After you pass the final exam, your certificate is issued immediately. You'll be able to:

  • Download a PDF wall certificate
  • Download a wallet card
  • Receive an email copy automatically

Your name on the certificate matches the name on your account. If you need to update your name before you start the exam, contact support so we can correct it. Once a certificate is issued, name changes require a written request and proof of identity.

If any of these are delayed beyond an hour due to a technical issue on our end, contact us and we'll get you moving.

Physical certificates or wallet cards by mail

We don't mail physical certificates. The digital PDF certificate is fully accepted by Canadian employers and public health inspectors. If you want a printed copy, you can print your PDF on standard paper or send it to your local print shop for a higher-quality version.
